Why Choose Us

Care That Honors the Whole Story

Healing looks different at every stage of life. At Generations Counseling & Consulting, we meet clients where they are, whether that’s a child learning to regulate emotions, a teen navigating transitions, or an adult processing grief, anxiety, or long-standing patterns.

Our work is grounded in understanding how experiences, relationships, and family systems shape emotional health across generations. Therapy is not about fixing people. It’s about creating space for insight, stability, and meaningful growth.

Meet the Founder

Storme Henry, LBSW, MA, LPC-A

Supervised by Jaye Williams LPC-S

I’m Storme Henry, LBSW, MA, LPC-Associate, founder of GCC. I help people move

through seasons that feel heavy; when anxiety is loud, mood is low, grief is present, or

life has shifted in a way that’s hard to make sense of. With over 12 years in social work

serving underserved and vulnerable communities, I bring a grounded, practical

approach that honors both emotional pain and the strength it takes to keep going.

In sessions, I’m warm, direct, and collaborative. We focus on what’s happening now,

what it connects to, and what you need to feel more stable and more like yourself. My

work is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment-based work, and family systems theory. We can address patterns, strengthen coping skills, and improve relationships from the inside out.

Outside the therapy room, I love family time and traveling which both keep me rooted in connection, perspective, and the belief that growth is possible in every chapter. My transition into counseling was intentional. I wanted to create space not only to help clients survive difficult seasons, but to understand themselves more fully, break long-standing patterns, and build lives rooted in emotional safety and clarity. Today, my therapy work reflects both the practicality of my social work background and the depth of clinical training that allows for meaningful, lasting change.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Julie Williams, LPC-S, and Sigrid Jones, LPC-S.
